**The Position**:
The Quality Manager will develop, deploy, and manage programs based on quality principles to maintain and improve the existing Quality Management System (QMS).

**Duties and responsibilities**:
**_ Interface with Customer_**:

- Interface with local and global Quality Management to determine, negotiate and agree quality Procedures, Processes, Standards/Specifications Service Quality, Reliability and Safety elements of a QMS.
- Determine and enforce, through functional groups, Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements in accordance with company needs, based on current regulations, Corporate Policy and customer requirements [requires interpretation of FAA, EASA and other regulatory and customer requirements].

**_ Manage Quality System_**:

- Organize and promote corporate-wide quality improvement efforts including AS9100 implementation and quality system maintenance activities.
- Set QA compliance objectives and ensuring targets are achieved.
- Administration of regional Product Acceptance, Product Safety, Corporate Policy and associated Procedures.
- Evaluation and development of improved techniques for the assurance of Quality, Reliability, and increased customer satisfaction.
- Assure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
- Support and implement environmental and health and safety standards.
- Implement, oversee and direct the corporate Review, Analysis, and Results reporting of potential defective returns from customers.
- Management of implementation, overseeing and directing the Quality System documentation and manuals. Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
- Collate and analyze performance metrics and drive through change where targets are not meeting their goal or a negative trend is identified.
- Managing the regional Document/Data Control department and functions.
- Drive closed loop Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) activity assuring Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) effective cycle.
- Promote the creation of Preventative Actions.
- Maintain awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues.
- Identify and deliver relevant quality-related training Coach regional team to better understand the QMS and its benefits enabling them to change their way of working.

**_ Audit_**:

- Management of internal Audit program including the close liaison with Corporate Quality Management.
- Leadership of external audits from vendors, customers and regulatory authorities.

**What We are Looking for**:
**_ Knowledge and Skills Requirements:_**:

- Thorough working knowledge of applicable EASA/FAA/AS9100 and other regulatory requirements.
- Ability to research and understand customer requirements documents.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally 25% of time

**_ Education/Experience Requirements:_**:

- To be eligible for the MSR role, you must possess, or qualify to possess, an Unrestricted CASA Licence Cat B1 with B737, A320, A330, B777, B787, A380, B747-400, or A350 Type Ratings.
- FAA A&P with B747/B777 certifying experience will also be considered.
