**Your key responsibilities
- Provide guidance and direction to stakeholders on specific issues relating to ICT Portfolio Office's assigned area of responsibility to develop a shared understanding of ICT project management objectives. Seeks to fully address Departmental client needs, enhancing the capabilities and effectiveness of client personnel, by ensuring that proposed solutions are properly understood and appropriately exploited.
- Provide assistance to projects and programs in the implementation of Benefits Management and compile information to report on the benefits being achieved to deliver the ICT and departmental strategies
- Takes responsibility for the provision of portfolio, program and project support. Advises on the available standards, procedures, methods, tools and techniques. Evaluates project and/or program performance and recommends changes where necessary.
- Ensures that program/project leads and/or service owners adhere to the agreed management approach and timetable and that they provide the appropriate information to agreed targets of timelines and accuracy. Produces reports as appropriate for project, program and portfolio governance, including making recommendations for changes.

Other duties
- Provides guidance to projects and programs on the required assurance processes, including supporting the development of assurance plans and
contributing to reviews and health checks.
- Performs other essential duties and tasks specific to the position as required.
