Program Manager

**Role and Responsibilities** - ** Permanent Position (Full Time)**: - ** Opportunity to be part of a Global Leader**: - ** SE QLD Based**: - ** This position requires travel primarily within Australia to support Operations as well as customer engagement activities.** **Role Overview** The Rotary Wing Program Manager is a member of the Services Delivery Team reporting to the Head of Simulation & Training, and is responsible for ensuring the safe operational delivery and integration of recurring Training, Maintenance, Engineering and Project activities for their assigned sites and platforms to meet contract requirements, whilst acting as a senior customer interface to ensure alignment of CAE and Customer plans. **Key Responsibilities**: - Ensure efficient and high-quality Training Delivery and Training Support Services, including maintaining a “safety first” culture. - Proactively engaging with the customer (O5-O6 military equivalent) to build trust and credibility, with a focus on solving customer problems and balancing contract and customer requirements against the strategic goals of CAE. - Building, motivating & inspiring their team within a culture that prioritises integrity, openness, empowerment, innovation and continuous improvement. - Collaboration and communication with internal stakeholders within a matrixed organisation to ensure the compliant delivery of contract outcomes. - Development of Annual Budget and Plans, including identification of future customer needs and opportunities for business growth, and then delivering against these plans and objectives, whilst displaying a high degree of commercial and business acumen. - Work with other CAE teams and lead "pull-through" business development activities to identify and capture growth opportunities. **Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience**: - Operations / Leadership experience, preferably within an Aviation / Defence environment. - Program Management experience and qualifications, preferably within a Services environment. - Defence experience (preferably in Aviation Operations, Engineering, Management), including engagement with CASG. - Project Management experience/qualifications (e.g. Prince2/PM BoK) - Australian Security Clearance - Australian citizens only **CAE Australia Offers** - A supportive culture for all employees - Brand new flexible leave policy - Annual salary reviews - Exciting career paths with global avenues - Corporate discounts, such as Private Health Insurance and more - Access to a brand new generous ADF Reserve Service Policy **EEO Statement** At CAE, everyone is welcome to contribute to our success.
