Maintenance Operations Manager

**The opportunity**

We are looking for a motivated individual to join the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team. Working within scope of the BDA Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) Part 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) approval, as an execution focussed Maintenance Operations Manager, providing program focussed aircraft maintenance and operating activities to support the Republic of Singaporean Air Force (RSAF) CH-47F (SG) Chinook Maintenance and Logistics Support Program. This role is located at the Army Aviation Centre Oakey, Queensland, in support of a Boeing Defence Australia customer

**Responsibilities**
- A strong background and an in-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance;
- Be familiar with maintenance planning requirements, including maintenance planning software programs such as cMRO, CAMM2, OPPS or similar programs;
- The ability to continually improve the team's performance and work processes through feedback, problem solving and idea generation;
- Experience in deep maintenance operations with a good awareness of flight line operations;
- Skills to develop and implement new policies, and maintenance programs that will enhance maintenance operations;
- A minimum of five years of military and/ or commercial aircraft maintenance experience in a management / supervisory role;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; and
- A strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products (in particular excel and project).

**Highly Desirable**:
(One or more of the below desirable criteria preferred, but not essential)
- Experience in Maintenance Operations Management;
- Experience in managing small to mid-size teams;
- Be able to work in a diverse, inclusive and cross-culture environment; and
- Be able to meet the requirements to hold a DASR 145 form 4 or equivalent
