**The Role**

If so, Heavy Air Lift System Program Officer is seeking two senior EL1 Commercial Managers to support Heavy Air Lift Capabilities for Air Force; one located in Brisbane (RAAF Base Amberley) and the other located in Canberra (Brindabella Park).
The Amberley position will be embedded into the Business Management Unit responsible for supporting HALSPO Commercial business and practice. The Canberra position will be embedded into the Special Purpose Aircraft Management Unit (SPAMU) responsible for supporting the Boeing BBJ and Falcon J 7X Jets Special Purpose aircraft and supporting systems. These positions will be responsible for delivering quality commercial leadership and support and have the opportunity to grow your career as a leader and commercial specialist through professionalisation programs and training.
You will be responsible for developing and fostering productive relationships with matrixed stakeholders and clients, further, driving commercial outcomes compliant with Commonwealth Government Legislation and policy requirements.
**About our Team**
The Heavy Air Lift Systems Program Office (HALSPO) provides sustainment support for four products including the KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport, C-17A Globemaster Heavy Lift Transport, Boeing Business Jet and Falcon 7X Special Purpose Aircraft. These fleets form the backbone of the Strategic Air Mobility capability within Defence and are utilised for roles ranging from humanitarian support to high end operations.
These positions are located in the Business Management Unit of HALSPO at RAAF Base Amberley and the Special Purpose Aircraft Management Unit (SPAMU) in Canberra. HALSPO’s key function is to undertake a governance assurance role that delivers effective outcomes for Air Force through the management of Through Life Support contracts and by coaching and mentoring the through life support industry partners.
The overarching Program Office is comprised of both Australian Public Service and Australian Defence Force members across the domains of Engineering and Technical Support, Supply Support, Contract Management, Logistics Management & Governance and Reporting.
