$115,899 - $130,733 (plus Super) - Amberley - QLD, Enoggera - QLD **The Role** The Regional Manager leads a team of Australian Public Service (APS), Australia Defence Force (ADF) and contracted resources to provide customer focused, integrated ICT services to Defence personnel across their region. The Regional Manager is accountable for the service delivery of Desk side Support services, Customer Relationship Management, Regional Project Support, Audio Visual Support, Communication Security services, VIP Support and Asset management, storage and logistics. This position is accountable to lead a large workforce of distributed resources responsible for the governance of all regional delivered ICT Services. They will perform a senior leadership role for their local workforce, including leading learning and development, mentoring and performance management. In this role, you will be an exceptional executive leader promoting innovation and continual service improvement whilst focused on ICT service delivery, enabling Defence's War Fighter Capability across the Defence Estate within your Region. This role also provides you with an opportunity to experience and develop strategic skills in many areas of leadership in an agile environment. You will be specifically responsible for: - The management of the day-to-day operational requirements for all regionally based staff, including performance management. - Developing approaches to ways of working and embedding Defence Culture within Regional ICT regionally based staff. - Guide, mentor and lead a regional team providing strategic direction to team leaders in resolving challenges in a fast-paced environment. - The management, assessment, response and escalation of business issues identified within your region. This may require gap analysis, high-level assessment, identification of reporting requirements and referral to locally based team members or national based experts. - Understanding strategic direction to improve delivery of ICT services to the region. - The reporting and escalation of contract management issues to appropriate teams for resolution. - Develop strategies and approaches as required to support your region to respond effectively to surge ICT requirements outside normal work parameters and the evolution of the Defence environment. - Have the ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure ongoing service delivery. - Facilitate and manage the Regional Governance Forum. - Regional liaison for COMSEC initiatives and communications. **About our Team** The Directorate of Regional ICT Services (DRICTS) acts as the Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) representative for all ICT products and services delivered to Defence regional bases and sites across Australia and internationally. The Directorate is specifically responsible for Deskside Support Services, Audio Visual Support Services, End User Advocacy and Relationships, Regional Project Support, Communications Security Services (COMSEC) and Regional Assurance and Governance Services. Our team comprises a mix of Australian Public Service (APS), Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Contracted personnel located across approximately 56 major Defence bases Australia wide. We also have an Overseas Region where opportunity exists for APS to rotate through the United States of America and England.
