An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
**Social Media & Communications Assistant** to join a dynamic team at Seed Heritage.

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, this role contributes to Seed Heritage brand communication with a focus on social media, PR and events.

**THE ROLE**:

- Social media scheduling, product tagging and reporting of our global, multi-platform social accounts
- Work closely with the PR & Social Media specialist on content planning, influencers and reporting
- Work with our agency on talent and content briefing, the fulfilment of briefs and approvals
- Support social commerce by curating our social shopping experience
- Keep across emerging trends in the social and influencer landscapes, providing insights to the team
- Regular connection with guest experience to understand customer love or any pain points
- Respond to media enquiries
- Sample management
- Support planning and execution of in-store and special events

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in Marketing/Communications (preferred)
- Social media knowledge required, social platform experience is a bonus
- Proven interest in the Retail Industry highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Competent in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
