**Calling all social media specialists**

With the expansion of Mushroom Group’s live entertainment division, a brand-new role within a sought-after team has been created to help take our social media game to the next level.

Working alongside the project marketing leads, this new role will focus its energy to strengthen and develop the social media and newsletter strategy of event brands Illusive Presents, A Day on the Green, Good Life Presents and I OH YOU Touring. Each year, these companies are responsible for tours like Drake, Khalid and Fatboy Slim alongside running event brands such as A Day on the Green, RNB Fridays Live, Immersive Cinema, Sugar Mountain x Boiler Room, Lost City U18 Festival and Wine Island.

This role is suited to experienced social media coordinators or managers that are looking to progress to the next stage of their careers within an exciting industry and great working environment. They’ll be proficient with all aspects of the social media landscape including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok, and also have an understanding of eDM newsletter strategy and database management. This person will be entrenched in all aspects of the social media and eDM roll out from ideation and briefing content creation through to day-to-day management of each event from announcement through to post-event phase.

**Sounds like you? If so, you will have the following.**
- 3+ years of professional experience managing social media accounts across multiple platforms
- Experience working within a similar role in music, entertainment or events looked upon favourably though not essential
- Have a tertiary degree in marketing, communications or PR looked upon favourably though not essential
- Fluent in all things social media - everything from ideation and content ideas to day-to-day management including scheduling posts, publishing stories, Facebook event creation, moderating user comments and so on
- Proven track record of successful social media content ideation, community development and growth
- Experience with eDM newsletter creation and database management
- Proficiency in the content creation process and has extensive experience in design and video briefs
- A knack for copywriting across various brands/channels with an appropriate tone of voice for each audience
- Track record for best practice content and user engagement
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere is looked upon favourably
