**Austin Health Emergency Department (ED) is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to work in our team.**
An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic Grade 2 Registered Nurses to join our team in the Emergency Department to undertake a **12 month Transition to Specialty Practice program.**
This program offers supported and structured education, enabling nursing staff to deliver high quality care to patients in the Emergency Department.
The program is ideal for nurses who have completed a graduate nursing program, and those with little or no experience of emergency nursing who are seeking a supported entry to this exciting specialty.
**The program utilises a well established professional development framework and provides a supported transitional pathway to Emergency Nursing that offers**:

- ** An opportunity to develop and increase skills and knowledge in the management of acutely unwell emergency patients**:
- ** A pathway into postgraduate studies in Emergency Nursing**
The program is supported by a dedicated and enthusiastic nursing education team who are committed to supporting new learners and includes a variety of study days and opportunities for participants to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
