**Austin Health Emergency Department (ED) is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to work in our team.**

An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic Grade 2 Registered Nurses to join our team in the Emergency Department to undertake a 12 month Transition to Specialty Practice program.

This program offers supported and structured education, enabling nursing staff to deliver high quality care to patients in the Emergency Department. The program is ideal for nurses who have completed a graduate nursing program, and those with little or no experience of emergency nursing who are seeking a supported entry to this exciting specialty.

**The program utilises a well established professional development framework and provides a supported transitional pathway to Emergency Nursing that offers**:

- ** A structured education program underpinned by the best available evidence**:

- ** An opportunity to develop and increase skills and knowledge in the management of acutely unwell emergency patients**:

- ** A pathway into postgraduate studies in Emergency nursing**

The program is supported by a dedicated and enthusiastic nursing education team who are committed to supporting new learners and includes a variety of study days and opportunities for participants to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
