An annual production of more than 16 million pump units makes Grundfos one of the world’s leading pump manufacturers. Circulator pumps for heating and air-conditioning as well as other centrifugal pumps for the industry, water supply, sewage and dosing are the main products. Today Grundfos is the world’s largest manufacturer of circulators, covering app. 50% of the world market of these pumps.
In addition to pumps Grundfos produces standard and submersible motors as well as state-of-the-art electronics for monitoring and controlling pumps. Additional products are produced in the BioBooster and Lifelink divisions, which are part of the company’s new business activities. Grundfos has also introduced Grundfos Blueflux, which is a new technology-label, which insures that the equipment is among the absolute best in the market.

We are a diverse team responsible for promoting and securing a comprehensive portfolio of Grundfos products and services for customers within the industry division. Daily, we are in close dialogue with wholesalers, installers, consultants, and other technical personnel with our clients as trusted business partners.

To ensure effective sales experience, we collaborate closely with other departments in Grundfos. Due to a valuable learning heritage, we act on behalf of global standards adapting them to a local context.

What is the job about?

Most of your time will be with customers and the more specific area will be defined when you start. However, you will be part of our team in Brisbane having a lot of flexibility to be working from home. In summary, your day-to-day tasks will be to:

- Provide high-quality customer service, reflecting solid knowledge of customer needs and perception of best value
- Identify and implement new opportunities within the division to increase share of wallet and potential growth areas.
- Identification and development of new business with the potential to use Grundfos products and services.
- Meet facetime targets to achieve desirable results
- Actively adhere to sales processes, including the management of the Customer Relationship Database (CRM)
- Ensure all reporting is accurate and presented within an acceptable time frame e.g. expenses
- Maintain and improve Sales Standard
- Conduct customer training including online and face to face formats
- Any other responsibilities commensurate with the position as required

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Bachelor in business or engineering combined with at least 3 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar role
- Experience of working in a Key Account role
- Frequent travel within the role should be expected
- Ability to direct processes or projects and liaise with multiple stakeholders to achieve effective and acceptable outcomes.
- Efficient ability to influence others and possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws, specifications and regulations where applicable for the customers' requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work from home should COVID restrictions require it
