Quarry Operator

Hanson is one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations across Australia.
We are currently seeking self-motivated and safety-oriented Quarry Operators to join our Wolffdene Quarry team, located 30min South of Brisbane CBD and 40min North of the Gold coast.

**This role will be reporting to the Quarry Manager and is a casual position.**

**In your new role with us, you will**:

- Operating Mobile Equipment including dump trucks, Front End Loaders and Excavators
- Operating the crushing and screening plant
- General fixed plant maintenance and inspections
- During busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where needed
- Attend the weighbridge

**This role is a great fit for you if you have**:

- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Total commitment to risk management and OH&S
- A positive work ethic and ability to work within Hanson values
- Experience in either Quarrying or Mining
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Although not essential, crushing and screening experience will be highly favoured
