**The Role**
The Compliance Officer will provide support to the Compliance Manager. Under the guidance of the Compliance Manager, they will assist with the implementation, maintenance, monitoring and evaluation of quality and compliance systems throughout the organisation. The Compliance Officer will liaise with Compliance Manager on compliance requirements and work with other staff in the daily monitoring of RTO compliance activities.

Our client is a dedicated Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that provides employment, training, Community Development Programs, and outreach services throughout Australia.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with requirements under the compliance framework to ensure adherence to ASQA and state funding requirements.
- Assist with the preparation and conduct of internal and external audits (ASQA and state-based)
- Undertake spot checks of completed student files for compliance
- Ensure any identified non-compliances are escalated/actioned as required
- Assist with qualification transition activities
- Working with the Compliance Manager, contribute to continuous quality improvement processes for all services and programs
- Contribute to the ongoing development and monitoring of quality and compliant resources
- Assist with the maintenance of trainer/assessor matrixes
- Be involved in validation activities
- Previous working experience in a role with a compliance focus in an RTO
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment _(desirable)_
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal verbal and written communication/skills
- High level knowledge of 2015 Standards for RTO’s
- Working knowledge (or willing to learn) of state funding contracts
