  • Maintain the Group Risk Register and support internal assurance programs.
  • Deliver executive level risk reporting, including ESG-related risks.
  • Drive policy development and document controls across WHS, Privacy, AML/CTF, and Food Safety.
  • Serve as the AML/CTF Compliance Officer and manage all AUSTRAC-related obligations.
  • Transaction Monitoring – Review and analyse transactions to identify potential indicators of money laundering or other illicit activities.
  • Risk Assessment – Assess the organisation's risk exposure related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF).
  • Compliance and Reporting – Ensure compliance with applicable AML/CTF regulations and prepare required reports for submission to relevant authorities.
  • Conduct transaction monitoring, submit Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs), and perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
  • Monitor PEPs and sanctions lists, and manage escalation protocols.
  • Liquor & Gaming Compliance
  • Ensure venue operations meet all regulatory requirements under Liquor & Gaming NSW.
  • Maintain RSA/RCG registers, incident logs, and compliance reporting.
  • WHS compliance
  • Oversee safe work practices in line with SafeWork NSW standards.
  • Support food safety compliance, inspections, and hygiene protocols.

ESG & Sustainability Reporting

  • Assist in the development of ESG frameworks, data collection processes, and reporting aligned to industry standards.
  • Identify governance improvements that align with environmental and social responsibility objectives.

*What You'll Bring*

  • 5+ years' experience in compliance, risk, or governance—preferably within the Club / Hospitality / Gaming or corporate services sector
  • Strong understanding of AML/CTF legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • Familiarity with ESG principles and experience supporting or delivering sustainability reporting
  • Experience working with regulators such as AUSTRAC, L&GNSW, SafeWork NSW, and local councils
  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills—experience with transaction monitoring tools is advantageous
  • Proven capability in drafting policies, managing audits, and communicating with senior stakeholders
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, law, risk, governance, criminology, or a related field
  • A proactive, systems-minded professional with a passion for compliance, integrity, and continuous improvement
  • Full legal working rights in Australia
