**The Opportunity**

As an **End-to-End Test Manager**, you verify and ensure the overall quality of our E2E IT solutions before they are delivered to our customers.

The role involves quality and test advocacy, resource planning and management, and resolution of issues that impede the test effort.

You act as an interface between project management, other test managers, testers, developers and finally, the customer. You contribute to projects by defining test strategies including testing scope and quality goals, ensuring appropriate planning of the test activities and management of the test resources. During the execution phase, you take ownership of quality assurance by planning, coordinating and controlling the test activities, keeping stakeholders involved and informed at all times by transparent reporting. You closely follow-up on defects with involved teams and ensure that the solution delivered is thoroughly tested working as designed.

As we are a global company, you are working in an international project setup, collaborating with co-workers around the globe. The local E2E Testing Team based in Melbourne is focusing on our Australian customer and is taking over more and more ownership over time, with you taking over technical management and coaching.

**Your day
- to -day responsibilities include**
- Planning, coordination and control of test activities
- Definition and monitoring of quality goals, ensuring end-to-end coverage
- Development and definition of test methods and test tools
- Reporting, tracking and documenting defects
- Documentation of test activities and test results
- Ensuring the appropriate planning and management of the test resources
- Assessing the progress and effectiveness of the test effort
- Respecting approved budget and committed achievements
- Respecting allowed budget and committed achievements
- Advocating the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects
- Advocating an appropriate level of testability focus in the software development process
- Technical management and control of the test team
- Writing audit reports, including risks assessments
- Deriving regression test sets at end of the project cycle for next non-regression readiness.
- Ensuring training and project knowledge handover for non-regression and maintenance purposes.

**Skills we can’t do without**:

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science
- Experience as a Software Engineer or Software Tester
- Multi-year project and test management experience in large software development projects
- UNIX- and SQL-Database knowledge
- Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and test management tools
- Planning and management skills, with high motivation to take on responsibility and ownership
- Agile mindset with strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
- Strong commitment to keep learning and improving continuously
