
Payroll Officer

We have a new opportunity for a talented, focused, Payroll Officer who thrives in a collaborative team, has high attention to detail, and provides outstanding customer service delivery. As part of the payroll team who pays over 50,000 employees, you will use SAP and Oracle Express HR, and work across over 200 EBAs.
As the Payroll Officer you will be responsible for the completion of a high-quality comprehensive payroll service with timely preparation of payroll related data, reconciliations, payments, month end activities, reporting and analysis along with payroll duties on time and within the Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
**Skills, Experience & Knowledge**:
- Entry-Mid level experience processing end to end payroll processing role.
- Experience in SAP is highly desirable or Oracle Express, or similar.
- Demonstrable experience in superior customer service
- Exposure to multiple Enterprise Agreements and high-volume (+1,000 employees) payroll processing will be beneficial
- Excellent communication, relationship building skills with stakeholders, employees, team members, and business representatives.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures to resolve customer payroll queries
- Ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload to ensure that all deliverables are met in line with KPI's and goals.
- Ability to follow procedures and policies to deliver an effective service to customers
- Self-driven to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment, and shift priorities as required
- Thrive in a collaboration team and supportive team environment
- Able to understand, process and provide feedback regarding customer requests/queries.
- Sound knowledge of payroll legislation and best practice to be applied in the payroll space.
- Knowledge of Pay Global, Attaché, Meridian, SAP, Oracle V12 and/or Oracle Express HR is advantageious.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office
- Excel, Outlook and Word
