**About the role**

As an eCommerce Assistant Category Manager you are responsible for achieving the key business drivers in Sales, Profit and Inventory targets for the online portfolio, implementing category strategies and supporting the wider team in the execution of the eCommerce category strategy.

Reporting to the Category Manager, you will also:

- Lead commercial conversations for the category with internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilise available data to regularly review performance with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate across teams & suppliers to deliver the Dan Murphy's customer plan and category activations.
- Continuously leverage data & insights to drive continuous improvement and sustainable growth for both Dan Murphy's and our supply partners.
- Optimise the merchandising of products across our sites, app and partner sites to maximise profit.

**About You**

You will bring to the role strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships. You will have solid commercial acumen and critical thinking with the ability to manage competing priorities.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

- Experience managing the merchandising of an eCommerce site
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of Profit and Loss statements
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; knowledge of SAP highly regarded
- Deep knowledge of the customer and industry along with best practice to execute category strategy
- Understands both compliance and policy requirements to operate in buying and in Liquor
