Undertake administrative water management activities such as water accounting and water meter administration.
- Operate independently and as part of a high functioning team to meet the objectives outlined in the department's strategic plan and business plans.
- Prioritise and coordinate workflow processes, managing multiple and conflicting deadlines to achieve performance targets in accordance with departmental priorities and objectives.
- Ability and skills to operate a variety of software packages to ensure quality customer service is delivered and maintained.
- Maintain systems for registration of drill logs, water entitlements and recording of related dealings including works to take water and water usage in accordance with departmental requirements.
- Provide written and verbal advice to internal and external customers on matters relating to licensing functions under the Water Act and other supporting water management policies, guidelines and procedures, which includes face to face enquires at the office counter.
- Provide administrative support to the Water Entitlement Dealings team including recommending business improvements and undertake other emergent projects as requested by Managers.
- Represent your team through active participation in internal regional and state-wide forums.
- Other duties as directed and required.
