Reporting to the Employee Relations Manager, this 12 month part time contract will support the Domestic Human Relations (DHR) team by coordinating the organisational resourcing needs for both systems and people at the Sydney MSF office.

With a focus on the continuous improvement of departmental effectiveness and employee engagement you will work collaboratively within the DHR team to support the development and implementation of best-in-class HR processes. Responsibilities will include:

- Coordination of onboarding and offboarding processes including exit interviews
- Conducting DHR inductions for new starters
- Prepare new, and coordinate amendments to domestic and hosted employment contracts
- Manage complex HR and payroll staff queries
- Support project management, and continuous improvement of HR processes and policies
- Monitor MSF Australia’s adherence to HR related regulatory standards
- Assist with internal event and meeting management
- Administration, reporting and document management

To be successful in this newly designed and highly collaborative role you will have a ‘can do’ attitude and will be open to learning. You will enjoy getting involved in maintaining and developing processes across the entire employee lifecycle and will be motivated by working in a humanitarian aid organisation.

Ideally you will have the professional confidence and capability to take on a variety of tasks at once and can demonstrate the following:

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a fast-paced, accountable and diverse HR role
- High level of integrity and ability to work with confidential matters
- Knowledge of current Australian employment law and work practices
- Attention to detail and a proactive highly organised nature
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to confidently support stakeholders across all levels.
