
Court Coordinator

Taskforce Guardian is a joint initiative by Youth Justice and Queensland Police Service (QPS). This Youth Justice team works alongside the QPS to provide temporary, concerted additional resourcing to youth crime hotspots to assist in increasing Youth Justice supervision, community engagement and coordination. This specialist youth team will be a highly mobile, highly agile specialist unit to provide support where it is needed most to focus on high-risk young offenders.
The role of the Court Coordinator is to represent the Director-General in youth justice court matters, provide advice and act as a consultant to other departmental staff in order to promote a high standard of departmental services to courts and clients.
Travel is a requirement of this position; therefore while the position is based in Brisbane, travel to regional centres and other offices will be required. This includes overnight stays.
