**About the role**
We are pleased to inform you that Orica is searching for a Global Payroll Analyst (1 year contractual role) to join our team at our Melbourne office with a hybrid working arrangement.
The Global Payroll Analyst will manage payroll across at least three countries, including Australia, LATAM, Canada, and the Philippines, with a focus on understanding the respective legislations. The role's expertise extends to interpreting payroll and enterprise agreements, demonstrating a thorough understanding of HR payroll processes, systems, and regulations.
As a Global Payroll Analyst it will provide data insights and analytical support in reviewing, analysing, and reporting financial information associated with the Breakaway program.
**What you will be doing**
The Global Payroll Analyst will be managing payroll across multiple countries, including Australia, LATAM, Canada, and the Philippines, involves a deep understanding of each region's specific legislation. This role requires interpreting payroll and enterprise agreements while demonstrating a thorough grasp of HR payroll processes, systems, and regulations.
Collaboration with the regional team is essential to address payroll requirements and work towards global standardization. This ensures consistency and efficiency in payroll processes across all regions.
**What you will bring**
- Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll or payroll related roles.
- Experience working across a minimum of 3 country payroll legislations (AU, LATAM, Canada, PH) - one of these or more - understanding the legislations.
- Experience with payroll and enterprise agreement interpretation.
- Knowledge of HR payroll processes, systems, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
