**The opportunity**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Support Officer who is poised to transition into a Project Manager role.

This position is based in Melbourne and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical projects within the Australian Defence Industry.

**Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to:

- Implement project management methodologies to assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects
- Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and adherence to project timelines.
- Contribute towards tender processes and Requests for Quotation (RFQs), ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage and maintain critical documentation in accordance with requirements set by the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).
- Proven experience as a Project Support Officer within Defence Industry
- Working knowledge of the ASDEFCON suite
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Valid AGSVA Baseline security clearance
