Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Value Sales team. We have a strong market position in the challenging risk management industry.
Your primary task will be to generate revenue within our more mature client set focusing on the ANZ region for our Enablon BowTie Suite which has an impressive client portfolio. This means working in-depth with clients who have been with us for a couple of years or longer. Often these clients are in need of a more consultative sales approach, as they are ready to take important further steps in their journey with us. The opportunities you will need to uncover and close are increasingly complex in nature and will require larger client budgets. You will work closely with other account managers in the Value Sales team, presales (product) engineers, and partner managers in your assigned territory, to jointly serve customers as optimally as possible.
This role will give you the opportunity to develop professionally in a dynamic environment, to gain further experience in international business, and to expand your network.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new sales prospects
- Maintain post-sales contact with large or strategic clients to facilitate a positive and productive long-term relationship
- Communicate with customers with regards to any account problems and discusses customer concerns and suggestions
- Focus efforts on product feedback, enhancement, upgrades, and development
- Report suggestions to and develop solutions with sales, order processing, and customer success and support team
- Compile data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing and reports to management
- Travel to and attend conferences, events and customer meetings as required
About You
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Inside Sales and/or Account Management.
- An understanding or experience of risk management software products is a plus, but not a must-have.
- Experience working in a dynamic, international environment and strive to be successful both as an individual and as part of a team and organization.
- Strong understanding of business, financials, and the ANZ market operations, preferably with a reputation for providing a level of expert knowledge within your industry.
- Strong communication & presentation skills (both written & oral)
- You are someone who engages with others easily, actively asks targeted questions, and builds towards a structured understanding of the client’s pains, needs, and business situation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a plus.
- Knowledge of CRM tools (such as Salesforce, Dynamics CRM) is an advantage.
