What your typical day will look like:
As the Executive Manager, you will be responsible for understanding and assisting the CEO, ANZ in driving and delivering on key strategic business priorities. This will require experienced high-level secretarial support, demonstrating sound judgement, providing strategic partnership, appropriately anticipating the CEO needs and working with various internal and external stakeholders to focus on impactful strategic business priorities.
The ideal individual must be able to work at a considerable pace and under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong decision-making capabilities, technological skills, excellent organisational ability and be able to maintain a realistic balance amongst competing priorities
Other responsibilities include:
- Support the CEO, ANZ by acting as an intermediary for both internal and external issues. Act as the first point of contact with clients, internal staff and other external parties including some media, regarding matters which call for the CEO’s attention
- Support the CEO by overseeing and driving all matters pertaining to the CEO’s office whilst being able to work independently and take initiative
- Keep CEO, ANZ informed of commitments, priorities and internal inquiries and ensure CEO, ANZ is fully prepared
- Build strong and positive stakeholder relationships providing high quality customer service and high-level administrative support
- Co-ordinate and manage relevant responses and/or input into projects, programs, reports, presentations, correspondence, and departmental/business issues
- Coach, mentor, engage and develop the EA community, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and learning opportunities
- Handling Invoice Processing, Diary management, agendas for meetings, travel coordination, booking accommodation and preparing detailed itineraries
A bit about you:
- Strong experience supporting C-Level executive leaders preferably in a large, complex, global organization
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Advanced organizational and time-management skills and technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point, Teams)
