**About the role**:
**We are looking for a Technical Draftsperson to join our team and take on the responsibility of producing in-house CAD drawings for building and construction projects. This includes basic architecture, HVAC, Electrical and fire systems detailing. You will be required to work as a part of a small and highly collaborative specialist team, including architects, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil and hydraulic consultants.

Key responsibilities include:

- Co-ordinate and manage BIM models as required.
- Develop and collate detailed drawing sets for data centre construction projects.
- Undertake planning, organising and works execution to meet agreed deadlines.
- Develop and manage compliance with all documented procedures and systems.
- Manage Document Control of drawings.
- Provide feedback, suggestions and solutions to the Project Management and Engineering Teams regarding any identified design issues or opportunities.
- Site visits and site measurements to be undertaken as required.
- Collaborate with and manage external consultants.
- Other duties as directed from time to time.

**About you**:

- Experience in mainstream CAD programs including AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience in BIM 360 beneficial.
- Experience in architectural quality drawing with a mixture of high visual presentation with accurate engineering drawings.
- A comprehensive understanding of design and construction processes.
- Ability to work unsupervised and under deadlines.
- Eye to detail in optimisation and resilience in designing in a Data Centre specific environment.
- Tertiary qualified and/or equivalent field experience in the relevant area, plus minimum 2 years’ experience, including demonstrated Architectural and or Services Design experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

**Essential**:

- Australian citizenship and ability to obtain, an NV1 Security Clearance
