**Company**
An Australian national company, this business has been successfully designing, manufacturing and installing high quality projects in commercial fencing, tactile indicators, flooring, stair nosing and joinery. The company specialises as a Construction & Infrastructure material and product supplier with the private and government sectors, covering the rail, commercial and the infrastructure sector. Due to ongoing growth an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Draftsperson to join them in their Head Office in Melbourne's West.

**Role**
As a Draftsperson, you will report through to the General Manager with your responsibilities including;
- Providing design drawings for approval for projects and custom design quotes
- Provide detailed manufacturing drawings to the production team
- Provide concept drawings as required
- Create Shop Drawings for the manufacturing team
- Provide technical support to the production and sales departments
- Assist in product design where appropriate
- Liaising with builders/clients on designs

**Background**
- Skilled in Auto CAD (minimum 2 years) and Microsoft Office
- Ability to draw up a quick detailed hand sketches which can be used for the manufacture of product where required
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications in order to produce shop drawings accurately and in a highly efficient manner
- Ability to work well in a team environment and deliver your requirements to meet customer, manufacture and project timelines
- Great time management skills and be able to manage and prioritise many tasks at one time
- Experience working in the civil, steel manufacturing / structural steel industry and have experience with light to medium steel fabrication and the associated Australian Standards
