About this team
You live and breathe the lululemon brand, and are an inspirational leader to the organization. The community team creates word-of-mouth excitement and grows the lululemon collective by sharing our best in the world technical product with key fitness and lifestyle influencers, media, local partners, by creating best-in-class experiences and working with the Brand team to amplify this to the collective. The community team drives the local strategy and builds a plan that comprises broad and deep tactics to accelerate growth and long-term brand love and are best in the world at building relationships, online to offline tactics and delivery of KPI’s.

**A day in the life**:
The Aus/Nz Event Lead is responsible for bringing the lululemon brand to life through world class events. They are responsible for managing a portfolio of events and contractors that brings them to life. They execute the three-year vision and strategy for their event portfolio and support the development and implementation of the five-year vision and strategy. This person is best in class at project management, event execution and cross-functional enrollment. Communication is at the forefront of everything they do, and they are efficient, organized and experienced at powerfully leading a cross-functional and diverse team towards a common goal.In bullet form, describe the day-to-day responsibilities of this role.
- Under the leadership and guidance of the Area Community Manager you are responsible for the execution of the event 3 year vision and strategy for your event portfolio
- You are accountable for the annual planning and production of the events in your portfolio
- For each event in your portfolio you oversee the guest experience from start to finish ensuring that each guest touch point appropriately expresses the lululemon brand
- You lead, develop + consult coordinators, contractors, agencies + partners responsible for planning and producing key elements of each event
- You enroll and align with cross-functional partners in support of your events including brand & creative, product, local community, internal communications, leadership & development, mindfulsophy (i.e. personal development), legal asset protection, insurance, FP&A, and IT
- You manage the relationships with suppliers, contractors and vendors (as necessary).
- You proactively identify and resolve and/or escalate internal issues affecting your team’s ability to execute its strategy and event plans
- You are responsible for setting up the event structure, RACI and project timeline for each event
- You are responsible for relationship management with external stakeholders (e.g. local government offices, venues owners, agencies etc.
- You are responsible for developing and managing the operational budget for the events in your portfolio
- You are responsible for identifying and assessing potential risks, ensuring that the health and safety of all staff and guests and preparing appropriate and relevant standard operating procedures, emergency and contingency plans

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Business - Event Management
- Passionate about leading cross functional teams to create world class guest experiences
- Ability to prioritize work and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- A track record of successfully delivering branded events from start to finish, on time and within budget
- Organized, responsible and flexible in a fast-paced growth environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder-relationship skills

- Experience working in a lululemon store is an asset
