**About the role**
As Fleet Service Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing team delivering exceptional fleet services to Bridgestone’s commercial customers. Your focus will be on driving operational excellence, ensuring safety standards are met, and achieving productivity and efficiency targets. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise and commitment to best practice will directly impact customer satisfaction and team success.

Responsibilities include:

- ** Team Leadership**: Lead, coach, and support the fleet service team to deliver high-quality service outcomes while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- ** Service Delivery**: Ensure the efficient and effective provision of fleet services to commercial customers, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- ** Customer Engagement**: Build strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their needs and ensuring service delivery aligns with expectations and contractual obligations.
- ** Operational Performance**: Ensure financial targets are understood and achieved. Monitor and manage productivity, efficiency and safety targets, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practice solutions.
- ** Compliance & Safety**: Uphold and enforce all safety protocols, workplace standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- ** Reporting & Analysis**: Track key performance indicators, prepare reports, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and continuous service improvement.

You also bring to the role:

- Fleet, store or workshop management experience.
- A solid knowledge of tyres and/or the automotive industry
- Confidence in communication and relationship building
- A strategic approach to problem-solving
- Proven experience in leading, developing, and training staff
- Computer and keyboard skills
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- Adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
- A team-oriented attitude and a commitment to positive workplace culture
- A current driver’s licence
