**What you’ll do**

We are currently have an opening for a full time, permanent Medical Manager to join our Medical Affairs team. You'll play a crucial role in channelling AstraZeneca’s scientific leadership in Respiratory to build and create a positive impact on enhancing patients' lives. Reporting to the Associate Medical Director, the Medical Manager is a scientific, clinical and therapeutic area expert responsible for providing scientific and strategic leadership for AstraZeneca’s Respiratory Portfolio.

**Essential for the role**
- Experience working as a Senior MSL or Medical Manager role in the pharmaceutical industry
- Curious, strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial creative problem solving approach and strong project management skills. Demonstrated ability to get things done and strong sense of urgency.
- Strong, clear communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, internally within a matrix environment and externally
- Strong understanding of the Medicines of Australia Code of Conduct

**Desirable for the role**
- Qualifications in a relevant scientific area and/or prior clinical experience e.g. MD, PharmD, PhD
- Experience in product launch or strategy development and execution
- Proven leadership capabilities; interpersonal and influencing skills
