**What We’re Looking For...
As our **IT Security Manager **, you will be responsible for protecting our computers, networks, information, and devices from malicious activity. This role will work closely with IT management and other key stakeholders to identify and mitigate cyber risks, develop security policies and procedures, manage security incidents, implement cyber training and increase awareness.

You will play a critical role in safeguarding our company's innovations and contributing to the advancement of medical technology. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to grow with a rapidly evolving company and would suit an experienced security analyst looking to further their career into a management role.

**Your role will include:
- Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
- Lead the security risk assessment process, identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Manage the incident response plan, including investigation and reporting of security breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the product development lifecycle.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure the timely resolution of any issues identified.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Independently researches and sustains domain expertise on current trends, strategies, and technologies to help move Saluda’s technology forward.
- Produce high quality documentation of processes and systems.
- Undertake project management activities related to implementing IT solutions as they relate to security.Other duties as assigned.

**About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on medical device or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Proven track record of managing complex security projects and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-informed decisions quickly.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**It’s not essential, but nice if you have:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Skills and knowledge in Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS security tools and products.Experience in medical device regulatory compliance activities.
