We are seeking a casual medical receptionist to join our dynamic team here at Myhealth Wetherill Park. We are a well-regarded, busy medical centre and are looking for an individual who is determined, passionate, willing to continuously learn and grow with our team.

Preferred requirements:

- Flexible working hours
- Available 15-25 hours a week
- Minimum of one years experience as a receptionist in a medical setting
- Experience using Best Practice software or similar
- Understanding of Australian Healthcare system
- Current CPR certificate or willing to obtain
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and work autonomously
- Passionate about primary healthcare
- Friendly and works well as part of a team
- Caring and attentive attitude towards fellow staff, patients and doctors
- Strong work ethic with willingness to learn
- Highly organised & able to multitask
- Reliable and works well under pressure
- Willingness to assist in tasks beyond job description

Job tasks and responsibilities include:

- As the first point of contact to patients, greeting patients upon arrival and accurately processing relevant paperwork is crucial.
- Managing a large volume of calls which requires exceptional phone manner and demonstrated ability to seamlessly handle competing inquiries.
- Booking appointments and providing relevant procedural information
- Billing and receipting patient accounts
- Document scanning
- Reconciling daily banking
- Cold chain management

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CPR Certification (preferred)
