**bout the Position**

Newington College is looking for an experienced and motivated Personal Assistant to provide administrative and secretarial support to our Deputy, Pastoral (K-12) as well as the wider pastoral department.

This position is a pivotal point of contact for the pastoral functions of the College’s three campuses. As such, the Personal Assistant requires the highest level of confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Deputy, Pastoral (K-12), as well as excellent organisational skills to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office.

In addition to the above, this role offers administrative support to the pastoral department as well as support on pastoral projects, project management & strategic priorities. It requires exceptional interpersonal skills for communicating with parents, staff, students and other stakeholders and outstanding skills with modern and constantly changing communication methodologies.

- demonstrate strong professional written & verbal communication skills across a range of constituencies including advanced proof reading and editing skills.

- demonstrate ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- demonstrate proficiency use of technology specifically Microsoft office suite and Data management systems.
- radiate energy, passion, and enthusiasm for the College and supporting the role of the Deputy, Pastoral (K-12).
