**About the Position**
Newington College seeks a qualified and innovative teacher of Business Studies and Commerce across Years 7-12. The position is permanent full-time, located at the Secondary School campus at Stanmore and will commence in Term 1 2025. A contribution to the pastoral care and co-curricular program is part of the role of all staff at the College.

The College has a strong tradition in senior years offering both Business Studies and Business Management in the HSC and IB curriculum. The department also offers a range of elective courses to both stage 4 and 5. This includes innovative school-developed courses such as The Business of Food and Business to stage 4 and Commerce and Cambridge IGCSE Enterprise to stage 5. The Department also delivers the Business Services VET framework to Year 11 and 12.

- have a thorough understanding of the learning process, including the role of assessment and feedback

- participate in the College’s co-curricular program
- understand and adhere to the College’s Child Safeguarding policies and practices
