Facilities Assistant - Leppington

**_Position Summary_**

Facilities assistant will oversee the operation and maintenance of buildings and grounds. As a facilities' assistant, you could be in charge of services including buildings, cleaning, catering, hospitality, security, automation workshop or parking.

Responsibilities_**

Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate with security and facility vendors and contractors on security system repairs, maintenance, additions, upgrades and enhancements (for both hardware and software). Liaise with them on system evaluation trials, testing and observation, frequent trouble-shooting and problem resolution.
- Coordinate with local operation teams on security, maintenance, technical support and facility requirements and measures - provide suggestions and recommendations, obtain support and buy in from management.
- Support operations function in housekeeping and maintenance of plant facilities
- Liase with contractors on facilities issues to oversee the maintenance and cleanliness aspect of all building.
- Billings, invoices, quotations, negotiations and arrangements for all local security and facility related service support
- Key contact for service providers inductions and work permits on site
- Maintain service preventative maintenance logs and documentation during service periods.
- Support procurement of mechanical and automation components for technicians and automation support staff.
- Support maintaining servicing log for automation up keep.
- Lead cost savings for service providers within the facility through efficient procurement negotiation.
- Lead key communication with service providers for the facility.

Qualifications Summary_**
- Experience_: Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting facilities preferably in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
