Yurika is playing in a very exciting space, supporting the design and construction of Australia’s largest utility-scale wind farms, solar farms, Battery Energy storage (BESS), even EV.

They now have a vacancy for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to work in the Energy and Infrastructure team to develop and manage commercially suitable and sustainable frameworks and processes.

**About the Role**

Working in the Energy, Infrastructure and Utility Services group, this is a pivotal role coordinating and influencing activities across multiple project and functional teams to ensure business objectives are consistently achieved. The role is key in ensuring that commercially suitable and sustainable Quality framework and processes exist and are embedded and applied throughout the project and functional teams. The role is also important in identifying, leading, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that result directly from Quality related work, risk analysis or other means.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Works closely with the E&I teams to lead the drive in continual Quality Management System (QMS) improvement and to ensure that end-to-end Quality business processes and tools remain efficient and fit for purpose.
- Development of quality strategies, policies, objectives, processes, standards, and systems, and ensuring their suitability for the business model now, and into the future while always ensuring compliance to ISO9001.
- Leads, champions, and provides expert technical and strategic guidance on the Quality Management, Assurance and Control processes and tools to all Project and Functional teams. Leads, consults, influences, and delivers in conjunction with teams across departments in E&I in the realisation of identified continuous improvement activities as agreed with manager and peers.
- Accomplishes quality objectives and initiatives by monitoring, influencing, reviewing, collaborating, and coordinating with all business teams to ensure organisational goals and objectives are met.
- Development and delivery of an internal audit plan for process and product related activities, and including partaking in quality control and assurance audits and the like.
- Verifies that specifications provided by the client have been correctly understood and delivered by the project, through working closely with all relevant teams to ensure clarity of requirements, and delivery of project records
- Trains and motivates employees to ensure that Quality is understood and achieved/realised through preparing, providing, and monitoring the status and effectiveness of Quality relevant training to E&I employees.
- Translates broader business objectives into specific Quality and Improvement objectives, strategies, and policies realisable by the business unit
- Ensures Quality governance through establishment of key Quality Metrics (KPIs) and Quality Reports (for projects and the wider business) to enable regular reporting to management, escalations as required, and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Responsible for the provision and control of quality management systems, documentation, processes, and all root cause investigations and outcomes associated with any NCRs that result.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to health, safety and environment and support a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Ideally based in Brisbane (with some travel as required to the respective sites) this role is key to the successful development and completion of renewable energy projects with a significant pipeline of work ahead.

**About You**

In order to be successful in this role, you will have significant previous experience developing and implementing QA processes for large infrastructure projects, ideally in the renewable energy, or similar sectors.

With strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, you will have:

- Relevant qualifications in engineering, business, governance, QA or similar
- Proven ability to influence business outcomes and resolve challenging problems through innovation, critical analysis, problem solving
