Senior QA Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior Quality (QA) Engineer, you will bring advanced expertise in software testing, strategic problem-solving, and a strong leadership mindset. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping quality practices across the business, setting the standard within your pod, and ensuring our customers enjoy seamless, memorable experiences.

Your deep understanding of our products, customers, and ideally the wagering industry, will allow you to drive smart, effective QA improvements that make a real impact. You’ll thrive in an environment that challenges you with context switching, complex technical domains, and collaboration across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute test strategies across unit, integration, end-to-end, and non-functional areas (e.g performance, security, UX).
- Champion a shift-left quality mindset, embedding quality from ideation through to release.
- Coach and mentor team members on test design, quality practices, and defect prevention.
- Lead defect management, driving proactive risk identification, triage, and resolution strategies.
- Collaborate across teams (engineering, product, design, stakeholders) to define quality goals and ensure testability.
- Continuously improve processes and frameworks, balancing speed with thoroughness in automation and testing practices.
- Act as a quality advocate and leader, facilitating discussions, sharing learnings, and uplifting the QA community.
- Drive innovation in testing and documentation, ensuring comprehensive coverage, clarity, and actionable insights

Skills and Experience

- Skilled at influencing and aligning cross-functional stakeholders on quality goals
- Experience in fostering a culture of shared responsibility for quality, not just testing.
- Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related field.

- Strong experience in test strategy development, risk-based testing, and defect management.

- Proven ability to work on complex issues, applying in-depth analysis and strategic problem-solving.

- Experience with automation frameworks, Playwright, and the ability to drive test automation improvements in mix of FE/Native/API Test automation frameworks.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentorship skills.

- Ability to collaborate across teams, influencing quality at every stage of development.
