Talent International is searching for an experienced **QA Analyst** to join our client, a large healthcare support organisation. This is a 6-month contract role based in **Brisbane CBD**.

**About the Role**:
The primary function of the position is to undertake testing activities for the technology initiatives under Digital Customer eXperience Program. The position will frequently be a major link between program and Implementation partner to ensure deliverables are as per Digital & Technology standards and governance and meet customer and business outcomes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop Test Plans, Test scenarios, Test cases and Test Summary Reports according to business requirements (including new test case development and updating regression suites, where applicable).
- Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.
- Undertake manual test execution as directed by the Program Manager.
- Assist towards development of test automation framework
- Integrate test suites into the test management system and undertake test execution
- Co-ordinate testing activities for the Program with internal / external testers
- Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute test suites for various Technology initiatives stood up under the program
- Work with the System integrators and Implementation partners for effective resolution of issues & defects
- Participate in sprint planning activities to identify impact on the testing process, implications of bugs and the impact of proposed changes to product definition and.

**Selection Criteria**:
Essential
- Qualifications and training equivalent to an undergraduate degree in IT or related field and subsequent relevant experience; OR an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
- Experience in creating test strategy, test plans & test summary reports
- Experience and/or significant knowledge in all of the following areas;
- Developing automated tests
- Creating well-designed and reusable test cases
- Perform and coordination testing activities
- Systems testing
- Integration testing
- UAT testing
- Experienced in defect management & co-ordination with development teams including usage of appropriate tools.
- Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with a vast range of stakeholders and colleagues to achieve positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated effective problem solving skills with the ability to perform research or liaise with others to develop solutions for more difficult problems.
- Organised and methodical approach to tasks.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work to objectives with limited guidance
- either alone or as a member of a small team.
- Demonstrable experience in dealing effectively with users, to undertake UAT testing sessions.
- Strong exposure to Tools including Jira, Confluence, and test management tools - Silk Central, Zephyr, HP ALM, etc.
- Ability to work in an innovative way using Agile techniques & principles to deliver quality outcomes

Desirable
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, including SCRUM.
- Experience using continuous integration / deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins)
