**About the Opportunity**
**Are you a Fitter looking to get off the tools and still stay involved in the mining industry and providing exceptional customer support?**
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated **Customer Support Representative - Mining** to join our team at the **Toowoomba branch**. This role focuses on supporting our valued mining customers using your mechanical skill set and technical knowledge of equipment to ensuring their fleet remains productive and efficient.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Regularly meet with mining customers to establish strong working relationships.
- Review the performance of mining fleets and problem-solve any issues.
- Use your technical skill set to undertake machine inspections and audits including undercarriage, chassis, Dump bodies, bucket and GET wear rates etc.
- Assist Component forecast using oil Analyses and various other methods of wear rate indicators
- Collaborate with customers to provide innovative solutions that enhance fleet productivity.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for customer concerns and work towards swift resolutions.
- Assist in planning maintenance events and forecasting resource requirements.
- Ensure mínimal downtime for mining fleets, optimizing customer operations.
- Contribute to the budget planning process by providing forecasts and insights into resource requirements.

You will be required to undertake a full functional medical to allow you to for fill this role safely.
- ** Trade Qualified** - Possesses minimum mechanical or electrical trade qualifications. Your skill set will be called upon regularly to assist in diagnosis of performance issues and allow you to have open discussions with fitters, customers and Tech support personal.
- ** Customer Partnerships** - Actively fosters customer relationships by pursuing opportunities for improvement and providing prompt resolution of inquiries.
- ** Project Coordination** - Proficient in planning and executing major maintenance projects
- ** Exceptional Communication Skills**:
- Exhibits a personable and professional approach to communication. Proficiency in organizing and preparing relevant documentation related to machine performance, customer products, workmanship, warranty, and diagnostic information.
- ** Technical Liaison** - Serves as a vital bridge between the customer and our internal technical support department, facilitating effective communication and understanding regarding electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components for Hitachi's extensive range of off-highway trucks and hydraulic mining excavators.
