Category Procurement Manager

Partnering with key stakeholders across the business and external market to develop, implement and manage supply strategies across key Direct and Indirect categories. To identify and deliver opportunities to influence and shape supply markets to gain competitive advantage and maximise value throughout the supply value chain.

Based in our Sydney office, you will leverage your expertise of category management and strategic sourcing to influence and make a difference.

**We are looking for someone who is**:
Degree qualified, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain and/or Procurement qualification preferred
7+ years experience in a Strategic Procurement role
Proven capability and experience in the development, execution and performance management of category strategy and plans
Driven, self-starter capable of effectively prioritising and operating with multiple stakeholders and projects
Proven ability to partner, build trust, communicate, and collaborate with stakeholders
Demonstrable record of “passion and drive” working within a target-driven environment
Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chains, category management, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, risk assessment and management within a category environment
Strong solutions focussed capability
Able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organisation
