**The Role**

We have an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Category Manager to join the Procurement team based at Rydalmere, to take on responsibility for facilitating strategic procurement category reviews to initiate cost improvement and effectively implement contract outcomes.

This is a true procurement role not a process or tactical role.

**About You**

To be successful you will be degree qualified, have at least 5 years purchasing and/or procurement preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, construction or hardware and experience across the following:

- Experience with negotiating, tendering and contracting
- Demonstrated ability and experience to implement change
- Experience in a category management role within a medium to large manufacturer
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Well developed facilitation skills
- SAP, Excel and Microsoft Office
- CIPS or APICS qualifications would be highly regarded
