LO-GO Appointments is seeking experienced water and wastewater Treatment Plant Operators for temporary assignments throughout Queensland.

LO-GO Appointments have several positions available with Councils in the North, South and Western Queensland, giving Operators an opportunity to travel while fulfilling temporary assignments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain water and sewerage treatment plants in a safe and competent manner;
- Ensure that all testing and reporting of results is undertaken for the relevant treatment plants;
- Assist with monitoring treatment plant processes to ensure compliance with industry guidelines, regulatory standards and statutory requirements; and
- Perform general plant cleaning duties and maintain machinery and infrastructure to meet necessary quality requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Water Industry Operations with experience in the operation and maintenance of water and sewerage treatment plants;
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and storage;
- Demonstrated computer operation skills;
- General Construction Safety Card;
- Current C class Drivers Licence;
- Willingness to participate in an on-call roster and weekend work; and
- Available to commence on short notice.
