Wastewater treatment plant operator required for Local Council

**Your new role**
- To be responsible under the direction of the Treatment Plant Supervisor for the operations of Councils Wastewater/Recycled Water treatment pants.
- To monitor the plant process units and optimise their operational performance
- Carry out testing of liquors from the plant, process units and interpret results to collect and record daily plant performance data
- Understanding council systems
- To coordinate corrective and preventative maintenance at the Plant
- Have a clear and expansive knowledge of all treatment processes and be able to make decisions based on quality information

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Minimum Certificate III Water Operations
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as well as work un supervised
- Ability to co-ordinate and manage tasks and resources effectively to achieve work goals to meet planned objectives
- Capacity to provide specialist expertise/advice in the discipline of operational processes
- Problem-solving, analytical and investigative skills
