The Property Section in Portfolio Investment and Programming provides vision, direction & strategic leadership for all property matters in TMR. We predominantly acquire & manage TMR's property for future infrastructure projects but also look after leases in the eight state boat harbours, Rail Trails along the rail corridor, commercial opportunities on TMR-owned land & the sale of surplus property. In the role of Project Support Officer, you will provide high level project & administrative support services to the Development Projects, Rail Corridor Management & Disposal team members to ensure the efficient administration of the project/s & adherence to organisational policies & procedures.
The role will include but is not limited to
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Director, including diary and mailbox management
- Provide administrative and project support to the Disposal Team to enable the timely and efficient disposal of surplus TMR property
- Provide the Development Projects team with project support, including working with procurement and finance teams
- Provide project support to the Rail Corridor Management team members through the booking of travel and other administrative tasks
- Assist project teams to gain relevant government approvals though the drafting and preparation of departmental documents such as submissions, briefs and correspondence. Track and manage the flow of the correspondence
- Assist with Human Resource and Finance activities such as staff inductions, higher duties arrangements, timesheet coordination and maintain a credit card
- Manage requests for information, including undertaking necessary research and providing summary reports and provide integrated solutions
- Assist with procurement processes and preparation of associated documents
- Arrange forums and meetings, including liaising with external stakeholders
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of official information and correspondence in accordance with corporate correspondence protocols, Information Standards and document and records management procedures
