Our Lady of Consolation Aged Care & Services is an independent not for profit company based in western Sydney. Our residential aged care campus at Rooty Hill is home to up to 300 elderly people and we provide home care services across the Western Sydney region; helping over 2000 elderly people so they can stay in their own homes. Our focus is on helping older people be as active and able as they can be, regardless of any underlying health conditions.
- **We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist / Administrative Officer to join our administration team on a fulltime basis.**_
We are looking for an enthusiastic new staff member to join our team. It is an important position because the role is our first point of contact with the public.
The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate a genuine liking for elderly people, be vibrant, creative, flexible and adaptive, and want a degree of autonomy and responsibility in a job. If that describes you, we will actively support you, and we can guarantee that you will find the role both challenging and fulfilling.
The successful applicant will meet the following selection criteria:
- Evidence of your interest in and concern for elderly people
- A strong sense of integrity and a focus on customer service
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft suite
(specifically, Microsoft Word, and Outlook)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation in person and over the phone
- The ability to work independently or as a part of a team
- The ability to accept a level of autonomy and manage competing priories
- Previous experience in a similar role
A current police check and minimum three COVID-19 vaccinations are requirement of this role.
