**The Role**
Join the Air Combat Electronic Attack System Program Office (ACEASPO) as an APS 6 Work Health and Safety (WHS) Officer and play a crucial role in ensuring the organisation meets its capability requirements.
You will be responsible to the Business Systems and Services Manager within the Enabling Services team to assure that ACEASPO core WHS functions are met. This will be achieved by engaging in research and analysis of a broad range of safety and risk activities to identify and address work health and safety risks to capability, while contribute to implementation and continuous improvement of work health and safety management systems in accordance with legislation and organisational policies.
The duties of the APS 6 WHS Officer include, but are not limited to:
- Accountable for research and analysis activities to identify and address work health and safety risks to capability.
- Develop and implement work health and safety programs.
- Contribute to implementation and continuous improvement of work health and safety management systems in accordance with legislation and organisational policies.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders on complex and sensitive work health and safety issues.
- Evaluate activities and processes for compliance with work health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
- Resolve problems using professional expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action and implications for work health and safety activities.
**About our Team**
As part of the ACEASPO team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with leading Industry Partners and contribute to the delivery of relevant and ready Air Combat Electronic Attack capabilities for the joint force. The Business Systems and Services team is a key part of the Enabling Services within ACEASPO Leadership and Support Team, responsible for delivering a range of WHS, commercial, systems, and services.

You will have demonstrated ability to:
- Coordinate, manage, and report on a variety of concurrent activities under competing time pressures.

- Quickly absorb detail and disseminate information across the internal and external organisations to develop and foster stakeholder relationships.
