Head of Financial Planning

**About the role**

You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive financial business partnering service across our global organisation.

You will be the 2IC to the Chief Financial Officer and play a key role in the collective development and implementation of finance policies, systems and strategy. This is an exciting and transformative time to join Movember as we begin to implement our 5-10 year Impact Strategy.

**You’ll have the opportunity to**
- Provide direction and mentorship to a team of direct reports who are globally dispersed, fostering an inclusive and psychologically safe environment where employees can thrive both professionally and personally.
- Oversee and review all country, programs and department reports on a timely basis and work closely with all stakeholders to meet their information needs whilst providing consistent reporting.
- Coordinate the production of regular value add reports to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Finance, Risk & Audit Committee and the Board on a timely basis.
- Lead the annual budget process including development and management of a detailed timetable, undertake detail review processes, and provide reporting and insights for the ELT and the Board reviews.
- Lead the monthly forecast process, including providing best practice advice, performing detail reviews, and coordinating summary forecast reports to ELT and for the Board.
- Monitor global budget performance and highlight issues on a timely basis.
- Record and report on budget changes and agreed overspends made under the delegated authority policy.
- Manage our planning system and own its roadmap.

**For this role, you’ll need**
- CA/CPA/CIMA designation with 10-15 years’ relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, motivate and empower staff to achieve team and organisational goals.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation, beneficiary partners, and external parties to build relationships, influence others and facilitate the sharing of ideas and information, including communicating accounting concepts and principles to people with limited accounting knowledge.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills to achieve positive business outcomes and to maintain strong relationships.
- Strong strategic thinking skills and commercial acumen.
- Proven ability to identify and implement process efficiencies and improvements.
- Exposure to an international multi-currency accounting environment.
- Flexibility to work with a global team across multiple time zones.
- Extremely proficient using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Have a positive, can-do approach to finding and implementing innovative solutions.

**Bonus points for**
- Working knowledge of NetSuite, Concur and/or Board
