**What you'll be doing**

The Financial Planning and Analysis team plays a key role at Catch. They work out the key drivers behind our financial results and help us plan for the future. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager takes a strategic role in leading the planning, reporting and analysis efforts across the Catch business.

The core focus of the role is to understand the needs of management by assessing the performance of financial results and to provide insight that supports operational and strategic decision-making. This position will be the face of the FP&A team, and requires strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

What does a normal day in the life of a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at Catch look like? Wellno two days at Catch are alike, but you could probably expect your typical day to include some of the following things:

- You’ll oversee the budgeting and forecasting process making it seamless and pain-free for your stakeholders
- You’ll provide reporting and driver analysis to your stakeholders to enable them to make great business decisions and understand the meaning behind the numbers
- You’ll understand and be able to explain value drivers to stakeholders to help them look at their business in a new way
- You’ll get to model and implement commercial business improvement initiatives with the business and see them through to the end
- You’ll draw on your partnering experience to embed financial analysis and decision support across both finance and the business

**The skills you’ll have**
- You’ll have previous experience in a similar role and be CA/CPA qualified. You thrive on providing budgeting, analysis and reporting to the business
- You understand big picture, can design process and also understand day-to-day impacts
- You’ll have an understanding of capital planning, reporting and decision making and impacts on commercial value
- You are naturally analytical - you want to provide the best possible information and always want to improve the quality of our analysis
- Strong influencing and stakeholder relationship building
- A natural problem solver and people person, you’ll communicate well with colleagues and stakeholders
- Juggling multiple priorities at once is your niche, you do this with ease and know how to ensure everyone has everything they need, and on time
- You are naturally inquisitive and enjoy complexity
- you want to understand our business and help our stakeholder understand it as well as you do
- Computer smart and analytical, you excel at Excel and have a head for numbers
