**The role**

When it comes working in the great outdoors - it doesn’t get better than this Join a fun supportive team working with stunning views at the Milson Island Sport and Recreation Centre. Travel on a short boat trip to work to coordinate sport and recreation events and camps that create lasting memories for our clients.

This fast-paced, stimulating role involves designing and delivering engaging programs to clients, ensuring smooth logistics for an island location, and rostering a highly motivated team of Program Officers.

**What you will bring to the role**
- Proven leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve shared goals.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

**What are the essential requirements**:

- Relevant knowledge, skills and experience and tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or a Certificate IV Outdoor Recreation/Leadership and relevant industry experience.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
- Current Class C drivers licence.
- Coxswain grade 1 near coastal certificate or ability to successfully complete within three months of commencement. Please refer to the eligibility to obtain this certificate (Meet medical, eye sight, sea service and course requirements).
- Ability to undertake on-call responsibilities on a rostered basis.
- National Criminal Records Check clearance
