The Actuary will be responsible for pricing new products and benefit changes, providing profitability analysis insights for both the domestic and international portfolios, identifying claim drivers and projecting product performance.

**How will I help?**
- Assessing the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques, to augment current data sources with other internal and external databases improving model accuracy and provide additional insights
- Provide thought leadership and strategic advice to the business in interpretation of model results
- Identify and leverage potential insights and opportunities for optimising the business, by liaising with other business units
- Preparation of Actuarial Advice as required under the Actuarial Advice Framework to the business or Board.

**What do I need?**
- Fellow of Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA)
- More than 2 years of post-qualification (FIAA) work experience
- Actuarial experience with a large Australian health insurer is desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have a proven track record of being able to work with non-actuaries and with different levels of management
