Operations Supervisor - Tomago NSW

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for operational excellence and safety. Toll Group is seeking a dynamic Operations Supervisor to join our team in Tomago, NSW. This is your opportunity to play a key role in driving performance, ensuring compliance, and leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

As the Operations Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day execution of transport operations, ensuring service standards and contractual KPIs are met. You’ll lead a team of drivers and schedulers, manage fleet and resource planning, and foster strong relationships with customers and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities and duties
- Lead and allocate resources to meet service standards and operational targets.- Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.- Drive safety-first culture and ensure compliance with transport regulations.- Manage fleet bookings, driver rosters, and operational communications.- Mentor and coach team members to foster a collaborative and capable workforce.- Conduct investigations, audits, and toolbox talks to maintain high standards.

What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in transport, logistics, or a related industry.- At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.- Strong knowledge of NHVR guidelines, Dangerous Goods regulations, and fatigue management.- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.- Proficiency in MTData, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools.- Dangerous Goods handling experience and relevant licenses (including Driver’s License and Unsupervised Handling License).
